I haven't googled it, but I have not heard of anyone else doing pinhole digital photography. I've been wanting to do this for a long time, but it was not possible until I had access to an SLR digital. You can actually do some amazing things with pinhole, like getting a decent image of a solar eclipse, or making multiple pinhole grids. There will be much more later!

The Swami says, keep that dust out of your pinhole!

This looks like a good way to keep the dust out, maybe you already thought of this:

Thanks for the link Swami. Yes, we thought of that, but haven't actually implemented it yet. Paul has more ideas for building a better pinhole "lens" for the digital. We'll see. We do indeed have some dust on our sensor, which isn't surprizing given we've been using it for 6 months and changing lenses alot. I had to clean these pinhole images up with Gimp due to some dust spots.

I've got the Eclipse, pec pads, sensor swipe, and AC adapter if you want to clean sometime!

Paul built a pinhole from an extra lens cap. So, basically, we are enjoying crippling our high-tech camera! Lots of interesting stuff possible, and we will soon make an even tinier pinhole for more crispness. Of course, it doesn't help that I hand held this balanced on a couch cushion. Really liked how this one turned out.

I've recently turned off comments for a variety of reasons, the biggest of which is that I haven't really had time to take many photos these days, and therefore get few comments. This means that largely, I just fight spam. You may still email me at the contact address if you wish.
